Meet Chris Koopman
Chris completed her 200-hour YTT in 2022 at Yoga Renew. After years of medical professionals urging her to not do yoga, due to health issues, she found a path.
In 2019 with the guidance of Laura Goff, she began alignment-based yoga. Chris discovered yoga in a safe and joyful way. Yoga gave Chris ways to live more grounded, stronger and with a bridge to connect the gap between body and mind.
When she is not doing yoga Chris enjoys caring for her 2 rescue dogs, getting her hands dirty in the garden, and dancing like nobody's watching. She loves growing food and cooking for her family. Making deep connections with family, friends, and community are her greatest passion.
Chris believes with yoga, mindfulness, and lots of laughter healing is possible.
